Halo 3 Legendary Edition

I have been looking and looking high and low for a Halo 3 Legendary Edition. After several months of non stop searching I finally found one a few weeks back and the price was too good to pass up. See I get on Ebay like a million times a day and it still takes a long time to find a mint condition product that you want that has been used and is at a good price. So when I finally found it I waited a few days until the time for the auction was up and the bid wars started. After all was said and done I won the auction and I was just so happy! Well it has finally came in and it is just marvelous. It is in mint condition and one of the game cases wasn't even opened! So now I finally have the Master Chief Helmet display that sits out for all to see and I couldn't be any happier about it.

Minecraft Xbox: New Candy Texture Pack

Just last week a new texture pack for the Minecraft Xbox Edition came out and it is just really awesome! It was the Candy Texture Pack and it just looks crazy. Not only is the grass made out of cake, but the zombies are gingerbread cookies! Now just how crazy is that? I really didn't know that this pack was coming out so i'm kinda surprised and happy at the same time. Will I use it? Well I am more of a modern builder so it would be kinda of difficult for me to try to implement it, but I will for sure create a world just for the candy texture pack. So overall I know it is really kinda of a weird and funny pack, but I still love it because it just shows how creative the developers for Minecraft are.

Best Comp 1 Paper?

We have written several papers in the comp 1 english class and have liked doing it. There are several to choose from and it's difficult to say which one I liked best. If I had to choose one it would probably be the comparison essay. The main reason I chose this one is because I got to talk about the two biggest gaming consoles on the market today. Also I got to talk about the details about each one and compare the two. Also I liked being able to try to persuade people to leans towards the Xbox One. So there are several reasons why I chose this essay over the others, but it's those two main reasons why I did. So overall I think the paper came out ok, but I think I could have done better.

Is It Art?

What is my personal definition of art? Well my personal definition of art is quite varuious becuase of the wider variety of art that is possible and even then new that can be created. I think that are is something new and original that has been created. Also it could be something that has been changed or altered in some way shape or form. So are there things that I dont think is considered art? Well honestly I don't think there is anything that can be considered not art because everything is art. If you just look at the world around you and think about it, it can be quite astonishing really. Because if you think about it everything around us has been created or designed at some point in time by somebody or something. So is it all art? Well overall I believe that everything around us can be considered art, but some just don't have the eye to see it.

Old Object New Generation

There are many objects that I own that come from my past. If I had to choose one though it would be my original first model Xbox. It has been with me for many many years and I just love having it in my collection. Nowadays with a newer generation I think that people are appreciating the first models of not only the Xbox, but other things as well. I think that people of the new gaming generation is being even more interested in it because of the value withing the age. Also many collectors are getting more interested because of the age. The reason I believe most new generation gamers are getting interested is because of games that they have never got to play and are really wanting to play. So overall I believe that the original Xbox has a really good connection with the new generation gamers.

Movie Remake

There have been many movies from the past that have been remade numerous of times. One of which is the the move "The Planet of the Apes". I believe that the older version was better for several reasons. The first reason is because I thought it was overall more entertaining. Also because it was something new and when they brought it back it just didn't hit the spot like it did in the past. Now I do believe that just because it has been remade and maybe wasn't as good I still think that it has a chance. If they were to really base a new one off the older one I believe it could really be a hit. Will they though? If they do it will probably be several years because there just really isn't a big enough audience for it. So overall I believe  that it could be a good comeback, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't come back

Best Friends!

I think that everyone has at least one person that they can call their best friend and sometimes even more. I am lucky enough to call two people my best friends and I couldn't be happier. My two best friends are Jenny and Kenzie and they are the nicest and most fun people that I have ever met. Even though this year we haven't able to spend a lot of time together because it is our senior year and there is just a lot of stuff going on. When we do get to hang out we do some of the funnest things ever and really enjoy it. Because of them I have made some of the best memories that I have ever made and I will always remember them. Even though we don't get to hang out as much I still look forward to the times that we do cause I just have so much fun. Even if we don't have anything planned we get to just "hang out" and that is fun enough for me. So even though it may just be one or more, having a best friend can really be one of the best thing in the world.

Call of Duty vs Minecraft

Everyday I face a constant decision and it is really driving me crazy! There are two things that I just absolutely love in the world and they are Call of Duty and Minecraft. See I am highest prestige in every Call of Duty and was #10 on the kill confirmed leaderboards and I just can't stop playing. On the other hand I have one of the most downloaded modern cities on Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. See I want to play Minecraft, but when I do I feel like I should be playing Call of Duty. When I'm playing Call of Duty I feel like I should be building on Minecraft. So when it comes down to it I just end up playing Call of Duty because a new one comes out in November.

Actor Opinion

There are many great actors in the world and many to choose from. If I had to choose one though it would probably be Johnny Depp. The reason I chose him is because he is in many great movies and does absolutely marvelous. One of my favorites is Charlie in the Chocolate Factory because he had such a weird role and did it well. The main movie series that I like is the Pirates of the Carribean which at first I thought he wasn't going to do that well, but after the first movie came out I was amazed. So overtime I think that he has only gotten better at what he does. Also being able to play so many different roles and still be good is just awesome. As time moves along though I think that there will be even more movies that he will star in and will be the perfect canidate. Maybe even another pirate movie! So I think at first we may not like an actor, but with time we will begin to appreciate their skill.

Peer Review Comments

I think that the comments we receive are a very good thing. They are very helpful because they help you notice things that you didn't. Also they let other people show what they think about your essay. At some points the comments can make you think that they are wrong, but you have to remember that a lot of it is opinion. Then when people do comment it helps you compare other peoples thoughts about the essay. I think that receiving comments rather than not is better because it is helpful in the long run. what kind of comments are there? There are good comments which people like the most. There is bad comments which turn out to be the overall most helpful. So overall commenting on other essays really help the writer with it.
